children." TR Bell, Co-ordinator, Stringybark Festival, Knox

Parties
"I
booked Christine for my daughter’s 6th birthday party. The children
were completely entranced and captivated by the
puppet show and
magnificent puppets. A most memorable
party".
Mrs Jennifer Alexander,
Mother, Eltham.
"Despite
being a little concerned whether anyone could possibly hold the
attention of 30 4 yr olds for close on an hour, I was
amazed at how captivated all the children were during your entire
performance. The parents who stayed through it said it was one of
the best parties at which they had been. Again, thanks for such a
high energy performance".
Craig
Mahony, Father, Birthday Party, Brighton.
"Christine's
face painting was fantastic. The
children and parents loved it. Very professional and her detail was
faultless. I would thoroughly recommend Christine to anyone."
Jackie Murley, Mother, Aspendale.
"The performance of
Sleeping Beauty at my daughter's 6th
birthday party was fantastic. Several of the children became so
involved they believed they were in an enchanted castle. The
feedback I received from all the parents was great and it is still
being discussed now 3 weeks later. A birthday party never to forget
(my daughter's words). Julie Howell, Mother, Wantirna South.
"Christine's
face painting skills are exceptional
and she is wonderful with children. The children loved their faces
and the hardened partygoer was hear to say it was the best party she
had ever been to. Christine was a great hit and made my daughter's
birthday a very special day for all of us." Karen Fehling,
Mother, Hampton.

“Fairytale Puppet Theatre
weaves a magical web of charm and childhood wonder, with great
visual impact, sound effects and superbly handcrafted puppets. I was
looking for a way to bring traditional fairytales to kids. This was
it!” Jane Cooper, Youth Services
Librarian, Kingston Library Services, Parkdale, Victoria.
“Great
puppet show! Eye catching and expressive puppets with great character
voices. The children were captivated:

Preschools
“The children were
enthralled with the performance and sat entranced for 45 minutes. In
this day and age of computers, television and Nintendos, it was so
lovely to see a good old fashioned fairytale being bought to life by
puppets, a medium which children adore.”
Alison Humphreys, Director, Beacon Point
Pre-School, Clifton Springs.
“We
all thought the puppet show performance was extremely professional, enjoyable,
colourful and brilliantly performed. The puppets and props used were
exceptional and the various characters and their voices kept our
children enthralled. Weeks after the performance the children were
still discussing this special event.”
Michelle Boxhall, Kindergarten Teacher,
Skye Children’s Co-op, McLeod, Victoria.
"The
children thoroughly enjoyed your performance.
Thank you so much. We were amazed at their attention and the
questions they asked. A tribute to your ability to entertain and
capture their interest and imaginations. Well done!" Mary and
Sue, Early Childhood Centre, Carey Grammar School, Kew, Melbourne.

Primary Schools
“The children absolutely adored this excellent retell of
Sleeping
Beauty. One comment from a child as we left was “that was the best
incursion we’ve ever had.” Melinda Airey, Hawthorn
West Primary.
“The
performance was
absolutely outstanding. The quality of the production was amazing.
The children were thoroughly engrossed in the story from beginning
to end. Excellent student participation in the show. Excellent
education session. The children were extremely keen to see the
behind-the-scenes stuff.”
Stephen, Stonnington Primary School, Windsor, Melbourne.
“Exciting! Fantastic!
Gripping, action packed, high quality, much attention to detail,
variety of characters, costumes, voices and sound effects. Children
gained great delight in being introduced to the puppeteer and
backstage. Perfect lead up to our unit on puppetry. The children
produced some terrific follow up reports and are now busy making
their own puppets.” Michelle Ogilvie, Osbourne Primary School,
Mt Martha, Melbourne.
"This enchanting performance of
Sleeping Beauty brought magic into out hearts. You are a breath
of fresh air. Thank you for brining the child inside alive."

Comments from the Children…
“Today a puppet show
came to our school. I didn’t think I was going to like it but I
loved it. It was the best puppet show I ever saw. My favourite
puppet was the Joker. It looked and sounded really good with all the
sound effects.” Katrina.
“I could never go without puppet theatre. I want to
do what you do when I grow up. I really liked the Frog, Jester and
the Evil Fairy. Your puppet making really made us excited. The
puppets were made alive because you acted very well. I thought it
would be boring because it was a little kids show but because it
gave me a laugh, I really liked it." Rebecca.
“Thank you for coming to our
school and putting on a puppet show for us. I was really good to
have you come here because we don’t get many things like this to
happen at our school because it we live in a valley far way from
anything. Thank you for teaching us how you make the puppets and how
you control them. It was very surprising to see you do all the
character voices. The sound effects really bought out the
atmosphere. We hope you can come back and cheer up our school again
like you did today.” Luke.
